Exploration and Production Safety

The industry has made significant progress in enhancing the
safety of exploration and drilling operations. These
advancements ensure the safe and environmentally responsible
extraction of natural gas, crude oil, and associated liquids on
lands managed by regional and state authorities. This includes
production methods such as hydraulic fracturing and horizontal
drilling in unconventional plays, all conducted in accordance
with stringent safety and ESG guidelines.

Designing, installing, and maintaining an effective fire protection system is critical, and the guidance in HNA’s Fire Protection Standards give valuable information to achieve this objective.

Extend our knowledge by conducting or supporting research on the safety, health, and environmental effectiveness of our materials, products, processes, and waste.
Commit to reducing overall emissions and waste generation.
Collaborate with others to resolve issues related to the handling and disposal of hazardous substances from our operations.
Participate with government and other entities in creating responsible laws, regulations, and standards to safeguard the community, workplace, and environment.
Promote these principles and practices by sharing experiences and helping others who handle similar materials and products.
